Who We Are

Seren Global Media is made up of people who genuinely enjoy what they do. Our team brings together a unique mix of backgrounds across the UK media landscape — from local newspapers and regional newsrooms to major national and international media organisations.

Many of us built our careers as journalists, editors, broadcasters, creatives or digital specialists. We understand how news works, how audiences behave, how brands earn trust, and how stories cut through in a world full of noise.

At the same time, the newer members of our team bring fresh thinking and an intuitive grasp of the social media, digital content and multimedia landscape that defines how audiences engage today. Together, we combine traditional media credibility with modern digital fluency — and it makes us a stronger, smarter and more agile team.

Our Story

A values-led business helping local organisations grow on a global stage.

Seren Global Media was established in 2012 by journalist and business editor Wyn Jenkins. Wyn had spent years helping Welsh organisations tell their stories through the media, and he recognised something important: many brilliant businesses across Wales were struggling to reach audiences beyond their local area.

Seren was created to change that.

Our purpose has always been simple:
to help businesses communicate more effectively, grow more confidently and reach further than they ever imagined.

From the outset, we focused on supporting the local economy. When we help a business in Wales grow its national or international presence, we contribute directly to the prosperity of the region we live and work in. When we work with clients outside Wales, we bring revenue and opportunity back into our region — further strengthening the Welsh business community.

For us, nothing is more rewarding than seeing our clients grow — expanding teams, winning new contracts, entering new markets and becoming recognised leaders in their field.
